Aircraft Spirals Out of Control into Palm Groves at Popular Southern California Shoreline
An aircraft soaring near a popular California coastline abruptly commenced twirling uncontrollably, eventually descending rapidly and smashing into a row of palm groves as onlookers observed.
Videos uploaded on social media show the helicopter starting to spin over Huntington Beach then descending towards the edge of the coast, where it ends up lodged amidst palm trees and a steps close to the Pacific Coast highway.
Rescue Operation Information
Emergency responders stated five persons were taken to hospital comprising a pair who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the accident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the street were harmed. Details on their injuries were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
